About Me

I have been interested in art, and sculpture in particular, ever since I remember, but I felt the need to express myself through art relatively recently. I started instinctively, intuitively out of pure curiosity, then it was a hobby that turned into a passion – at the moment, art has become an important and integral part of my life.

Currently, I work in field of visual art, primarily in the area of sculpture, I also create graphics and paintings.

I focus mainly on people. Human as spatial vessel – a container for the soul, with death as the limit of existence. The body as a prison, with full awareness of its own limitations of mind, character, temperament of experiences resulting from past. Corporeality, temporality, primal animal needs towards the consciousness of being, issues of morality, ideology and religion. My sculptures are a notation of time and space.  Currently I’m focusing on reflection of our times, the era of the Anthropocene, the age of the information society, technology, artificial intelligence.

I would prefer to avoid answering questions that arise about political and religious opinions. What is important to me in my art and what I would like to emphasize as an artist is Freedom. A very extensive and complicated topic. For centuries, we have been accompanied by questions: What is freedom? Is it worth being free? Is it easy to be free and is full freedom possible at all?

I believe art is too important to be closed in gallery spaces. I try to make trials and experiments introducing my works to open public space.

Urban interventions help to shorten the distance between the artist and leaving the viewer a margin of uncertainty and room for interpretation.
